HTC’s One Max smartphone is now finally getting an Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The device was released way back in the October of 2013. The Android 5.0 Lollipop will have Sense 6.0 User Interface on top of it. There might not be many users of the device, on account of how dated it is. But those who do use it will be elated to hear the news. Many users of the smartphone have reported that the Lollipop update has begun rolling out to their devices OTA(over the air). For now, this is being reported only in certain Asian and European markets. Markets such as Italy, France, Poland, Taiwan and Czech Republic are some of the places where users have reported getting the update.It is also being expected that the update will be available in the US market. It is sold by Verizon, AT&T and Sprint in the US marketTo recap things, the HTC One Max smartphone has the distinction of being the largest Android smartphone by HTC till date. The device sports a 5.9-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. A unique feature on the device is a fingerprint scanner which is located at the back of the phone. The One Max also has a 4MP UltraPixel camera, and a 3300mAh battery. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor alongside 2GB RAM. The internal storage on the device is 32GB, and it is also expandable.
