Michigan hasn’t beaten Ohio State in a while. The Wolverines last win against the Buckeyes came in 2011, when OSU was led by then-interim head coach Luke Fickell. Urban Meyer is unbeaten against TTUN (and Jim Harbaugh is winless).Earlier this year, former Michigan great Charles Woodson revealed why he thinks this is happening. The Hall of Famer doesn’t believe the Wolverines are putting enough emphasis on “The Game.”“You know what, to be quite honest, I really feel like in recent years there hasn’t been the emphasis I’m used to being put on that game,” Woodson said last month, via the Detroit Free-Press. “Every game has been put on the same level as that game. That’s not the way we were brought up. Not the way we were raised around here.“We had no shame in saying (we were going to beat Ohio State). And every time I watch our teams in recent years, it’s ‘oh, it’s another game.’ It’s not.”Maybe he has a point, maybe he doesn’t.Harbaugh certainly does not think he has a point.Michigan’s head coach was asked about Woodson’s comments today by Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News.Harbaugh clearly looked annoyed and gave a simple, “it’s been emphasized” response.Check it out:Asked Harbaugh about Woodson saying UM not emphasizing OSU enough……. pic.twitter.com/GQktQUOX4N— angelique (@chengelis) June 3, 2018OK then.Ohio State is set to host Michigan in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 24.
